As part of the contract with our waste removal service we have access to a dumpster twice a year. A dumpster will be available over the weekend,  Friday Nov.6th until November 9th.  The dumpster will be located near the basketball court.

Woodstream residents may dispose of tree limbs, brush, grass trimmings, and other biodegradable yard waste in this dumpster. The dumpster is a convenient way for residents to dispose of items that they are unable to take to the dump. The dumpster is not intended for people to clean out their homes. Please focus on yards and areas behind the fences.

Dumping of material is limited to Woodstream residents only.

Please take this opportunity to tackle those landscaping and yard projects before winter is upon us. If you know a neighbor that may have some items that they cannot handle please offer to help them.

Reminder! The WHOA Annual Meeting is scheduled for TONIGHT Tuesday, October 27th, from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm in the cafeteria of the Newington Forest Elementary
School located at 8001 Newington Forest Avenue, Springfield, VA.

For homeowners unable to attend the meeting, a general proxy form will be included in the mailing that will be sent to formally announce the Annual Meeting date. If you cannot attend, please make sure that you fill out the proxy form and give it to a member of the Board of Directors or one of your neighbors who will be attending.

All residents as well as absentee homeowners are encouraged to attend the annual meeting and to take an active part in the discussions and decisions that affect our community.

There is a pile of firewood at the top of the hill behind the playground from the recent tree work. First come first serve. It will be removed tomorrow.

The house numbers for the single family homes will be painted Monday 8/24.  Please avoid parking in front of the spaces where the numbers are located.

Bubbling Brook and upper Forest Path Way are now open. Some of the yellow curbs on Bubbling Brook may be wet.

The single family curb house numbers will be painted at a later date.
