Update: Since Fairfax County Schools are closed we are unable to have the Semi Annual meeting. Please check back for updates.

A Woodstream Homeowners Association Semi-Annual Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at 7:45 p.m. in the Newington Forest Elementary School cafeteria. Newington Forest Elementary School is located at 8001 Newington Forest Avenue (take a right out of Woodstream onto Pohick Road; Newington Forest Avenue is the 3rd left).

For those of you who will not be able to attend in person, a general poxy form should be
filled out and given to a board member, mailed to the post office box above, or taken to
the meeting by one of your neighbors.

Whether you currently reside in Woodstream or you are an “absentee” homeowner, you
have made an investment purchasing a home in the neighborhood. You are encouraged
to attend the annual meeting and take an active part in the decisions that affect your
community.

Please try to have at least one representative in attendance. Important decisions about
future improvements to Woodstream will be discussed, a Special Assessment to pay
for the improvements need to be voted, and neighborhood concerns need to addressed.
Please remember to complete the enclosed proxy form and give it to a board member or
neighbor who will attend if you cannot.

Due to the 4th of July holiday, there will be no recycling pic-kup. Normal recycling service will resume July 11th.

Update: Dog’s owner has been found!

A resident of Woodstream found a dog in the community yesterday, 6/16/2012. The dog is a Golden Retriever Mix, 80-100lbs, curly hair on bum, pink reflective collar w/bones on it. No tags.
