Annual Meeting Notice 10/25/22

The time has come once again for the annual Woodstream Homeowners Association
(WHOA) Annual Meeting. The community needs your involvement to succeed. We are
in desperate need for owners to volunteer to fill empty seats on the board. Many
members of the board have been volunteering for over 6 years. Please consider reaching
out and answering the call to help. If you are interested or have questions about the
board, please email us at board@woodstream.org

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. in the Newington
Forest Elementary School cafeteria, which is located at 8001 Newington Forest Ave,
Springfield, VA 22153.

Enclosed please find a copy of the annual meeting agenda and a general proxy form for
the meeting. For those of you who will not be able to attend in person, the general
proxy form should be filled out and given to a board member, mailed to the post office
box above, or taken to the meeting by one of your neighbors.

Whether you currently reside in Woodstream or you are an absentee homeowner, you
have made an investment purchasing a home in the neighborhood. You are
encouraged to attend the annual meeting and take an active part in the decisions that
affect your community.

WHOA Annual Meeting – New location this year

The WHOA Annual Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 1st, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the cafeteria of the Orange Hunt Elementary School located at 6820 Sydenstricker Road Springfield, VA.  The meeting is being held at Orange Hunt this year because of the construction at Newington Forrest Elementary School.

If you cannot attend, please make sure that you fill out the proxy form and give it to a member of the Board of Directors or one of your neighbors who will be attending.

All residents as well as absentee homeowners are encouraged to attend the annual meeting and to take an active part in the discussions and decisions that affect our community.

Many board members will be stepping down this year and your community is in need of additional volunteers to help assist in the operations of the Woodstream Neighborhood. Please consider joining the board.
