Annual Community Clean Up Flyer

If you CAN attend:
Thank you! Many hands make light work so bring your friends and family.
Also, please wear solid shoes and bring any necessary supplies that you may
have. Supplies include, but are not limited to the following: heavy-duty
gloves, trash bags, rakes, buckets, wheelbarrows, shovels & hand wipes.

If you CANNOT attend:
Please utilize the dumpster that will be in our community from June 7th – 11th.
Be sure to check the woods behind your home for any trash/debris and place it in the dumpster or on the curb. Volunteers will be picking up trash on the curbs and putting it in the dumpster on the morning of June 8th.

Update: The board extended the length of time the dumpster is in place because of the bad weather over Columbus Weekend. The dumpster will be removed on Monday.

The Woodstream Board of Directors has scheduled a community yard clean up for October 6-8, 2012 which is this year’s Columbus Day weekend. The Board is renting a dumpster, which will be placed on Magic Leaf Road near the playground.

The Board has contracted with thecareoftrees to do major tree work on the community owned trees within the town house area of the neighborhood. The work is scheduled to begin on October 15th. Some cars may need to park elsewhere during the work.

Homeowners who wish to have their own trees worked on during this time may be able to see some savings for their own work since the crews will already be in the neighborhood. Please call them at 703-922-8733 to get an estimate. Our contact’s name is Zana Jevremovic. Mention our project. The work will be scheduled for sometime in October.

The Annual Woodstream Community Yard Sale will occur Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 8 am – 1 pm. The Woodstream HOA will take care of advertising the event. For residents who wish to participate, the set up area will be along Magic Leaf Road. For residents who wish to conduct a Yard Sale during this time, but at their homes, signs are their own responsibility.
